Receiving high-quality feedback on research projects is immensely valuable to the development of academic manuscripts. Yet many early-career researchers have limited opportunities to gain personalized feedback on their work from editors of top-tier finance journals. To address this need, FIRN Early Career Researchers (ECR) Program is excited to announce a new initiative: ECR Manuscript Feedback Program.
Program Details:
FIRN offers ECR members a valuable opportunity to received specific feedback on their academic manuscripts (working papers) from an experienced editor of a top-tier finance journals, Professor Itay Goldstein (Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania). Professor Goldstein is the Executive Editor of the Review of Financial Studies, and has served as an editor in Management Science and the Journal of Financial Intermediation.
Authors of selected manuscripts will receive written feedback from Professor Goldstein on their manuscripts and have the opportunity to have a one-on-one conversation with Professor Goldstein. The in-person feedback conversations are requested by Prof. Goldstein and will be hosted in Sydney between 6th and 16th of December. Authors of selected manuscripts will be notified sufficiently in advance of the meeting date and time.
