FIRN works in associations with member institutions to host annual research-intensive meetings. The objective is to develop a vibrant and collegial community of academics within Australia, to present cutting-edge research, to collaborate with international academics and to create a platform for greater exposure of research being conducted within the FIRN community. The following research-intensive meetings are currently hosted by FIRN:
